It is no news to anyone that surfing is one of the hardest sports to learn. The learning curve is not a steep one and you only slowly and gradually will make steps to become better. This steep learning curve is a challenge that you need to commit to. You will only progress through dedication, commitment and practice, practice & practice. We notice that we are really progressing. Being in Indonesia for a bit more than a month is showing off on our surf skills. We paddle easier as our muscles are more used to the movement, we take off easier, and we are more confident to paddle for faster, higher and steeper waves.
Next to this, we also show more progression in the water in terms of where our head is. We don’t push it too hard, we just enjoy being in the ocean and take every wave and every session for what it is, some will suck, some will be the best session ever.
So progression goes both ways for us and we embrace it with open arms.
